Job Description

Bloomscape is seeking to hire a creative, versatile, and thoughtful Brand Manager to refine our brand and ensure that we are telling a cohesive story across all channels—digitally and physically. The Brand Manager will collaborate with Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, and Sales to create assets, ensure consistency, and find effective and creative ways to tell the story of Bloomscape and create authentic and engaging moments.

To be successful as the Brand Manager, you will need a thoughtful and collaborative approach to design, a strong aesthetic vision, and willingness to get your hands dirty to design, shoot, and produce the visual assets needed to support marketing and customer experience efforts.

The Brand Manager will::
– “Own” the brand and enforce brand guidelines across all digital channels, physical spaces, communications, and partnerships
– Collaborate with Marketing to conceptualize and produce photo, illustration, and video assets to support marketing strategies
– Manage and adhere to budgets and timelines
– Collaborate with Marketing and CX to conceptualize, create, and manage physical spaces such as pop-up shops, retail displays, brick and mortar shops, event booths, etc
– Research and analyze trends and communicate findings across the company
– Consult with Product to ensure brand consistency and relevance in product design, packaging, and collateral
– Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Experience to optimize and improve overall website user experience

Responsibilities & Upcoming Projects

– Refine and maintain brand guides and communicate updates and changes to the team and external partners
– Support marketing strategies by creating visual assets for social, digital advertising, print advertising, emails, and content
– Assist with crafting messaging for products, company, promotions, and advertising needs
– Collaborate with Marketing to create a strategic content calendar
– Manage the creation of video content including:
    - Conceptualization according to specific strategic initiatives
    - Create scripts, storyboards, and mood boards
    - Research and manage external collaborators and contractors
    - Select and coordinate locations, setup, and styling
    - Day-of production: union compliance, releases, timeline, etc
    - Oversee editing and approval process
    - Coordinate final asset delivery with optimized cuts for various social channels
– Produce photo assets for digital campaigns, website, and content including:
    - Conceptualization according to specific strategic initiatives
    - Research, select, and manage photographers and stylists
    - Select and coordinate locations, setup, and styling
    - Day-of production: union compliance, releases, timeline, etc
    - Asset editing and selection
    - Final asset delivery, labeling, resizing, and organization
– Develop and manage the Bloomscape event program including:
    - Event and experience selection and calendar
    - Partner management and collaboration
    - Booth/space design and execution including concepting, mockups, material and vendor selection, etc
    - Design and creation of promotional collateral including production management
    - Coordinate and manage staff and vendor logistics
– Design and produce all print collateral including boxes, care cards, promotional materials, lookbooks, welcome kits, etc
– Design digital ads, social posts, and email assets as necessary
– Manage all design-related vendors and external partners

Qualifications

– Strong aesthetic vision and proven ability to articulate and implement a vision across a company
– Graphic Design experience preferably across digital, print, and experiential design
– Proven ability to create video and photo assets while adhering to budgets, timeline, and strategic vision
– Expert in Adobe Suite
– Strong project management skills
– Experience managing vendors, clients, and/or partners
– Knowledge of user experience and digital best practices and trends for consumer goods
– Knowledge of print and packaging design and production
– Must be an independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary
– Self-motivated with ability to work in ambiguity and still drive forward
– Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field
– Passion for plants and the Bloomscape brand
– Previous experience in decor, lifestyle, or direct-to-consumer brands a plus
