LIGHT

Your Kit will grow best in partial to full sun where the plants can receive at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight. However, they’re not too fond of heat, so they might need to be protected from the afternoon sun.

WATER

These plants thrive in moist soil as they do not like to dry out completely. So they’ll need water when the top two inches of soil is dry.  Be sure to avoid splashing water on the foliage and blooms when watering, as this can cause diseases. Plus, overwatering can cause your plants to become leggy with fewer flowers.

FOOD

You feed your Combo Kit with an all-purpose, balanced fertilizer that’s diluted according to the instructions on the label. Starting in July and going into the fall, you can feed your plants once every two to three weeks as the growing season comes to an end.

ADDITIONAL CARE

To encourage new flower growth on your Petunias, remove spent blooms in a practice known as deadheading. Removing the dead flowers will help promote additional growth throughout the season. Calibrachoas do not typically require deadheading, but if they start getting leggy or stretched out, feel free to trim the flowers and foliage back to promote growth.
