The exotic broadleaf Dracaena Elegance sports dark green leaves situated atop three sturdy bamboo-like canes. With low-maintenance care needs and a tropical appearance, this Dracaena makes for a popular houseplant great for almost any environment.

As a member of the Dracaena family, it is known for being among the easiest of houseplants. An undemanding plant that tolerates less than ideal lighting conditions and low humidity, the Elegance even forgives the occasional missed watering for those who travel frequently or have limited time for frequent plant care.

Native to the continent of Africa, dracaenas are top performers in NASA’s clean air study and have been used as an indoor plant since at least the mid-19th century. Dracaenas remain popular today because they possess two important qualities in an indoor plant: attractiveness and forgiving nature.
