Description
Be whisked away to far-off lands with the unique Madagascar Palm. This palm’s spindly, spiked base is crowned with long skinny green leaves. Not a true palm, this plant is actually a succulent! What’s best is that this natural oddity needs very little attention, making it a low-fuss and high-reward plant. If given enough light, the Madagascar Palm has been known to bloom white or yellow flowers in the summer.
The Madagascar Palm is natively found on the African island of Madagascar. Since it’s a succulent rather than a palm, this plant needs bright direct light. Allow its soil to dry all the way between waterings and water thoroughly to encourage a strong root system. Clip any discolored old leaves to keep it looking its best.
