Be whisked away to far-off lands with the Sunny Safari Collection which includes an Ant Plant, Silver Squill, and Madagascar Palm. The Ant Plant’s base is hollow with sticky sap, which makes them the perfect symbiotic partner for ants in the jungle. Not to worry, they won’t invite these guests into your home. The Madagascar Palm’s spiky base is topped with long skinny green leaves and it is actually a succulent, not a true palm. The Silver Squill sports leopard print foliage and can grow pink stems with tiny flowers. What’s best is that these natural oddities are hands-off, making them low-fuss and high reward plants.
The Ant Plant is native to Southeast Asia, the Silver Squill is native to South Africa, and the Madagascar Palm is from the island of Madagascar. The Ant Plant and Silver Squill prefer bright indirect light, while the Madagascar Palm needs bright direct light. Allow their soil to dry all the way between waterings. Clip any discolored old leaves to keep them looking their best.Additional Resources:
