Calibrachoa Care

Early to flower in the spring, Calibrachoas produce beautiful, colorful blooms in abundance throughout the summer to fall. Enjoying warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine, Calibrachoas are a great addition to any sunny porch or patio. As a bonus, Calibrachoa blossoms may attract pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds to your garden.

How to care for your Calibrachoa

Use these instructions to care for a Calibrachoa. This guide will tell you how to water a Calibrachoa; its light, temperature, humidity preferences and any additional care it might need to help it grow.

Calibrachoa Neo Dark Blue

LIGHT

Calibrachoa Neo Dark Blue will grow best in partial to full sun where the plants can receive at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight.

WATER

Provide Calibrachoas with plenty of water as they do not like to dry out completely; water just before the soil is dry. During hot and dry times, more watering may be required, and during rainy times, less watering may be needed. Be sure to avoid splashing water on the foliage and blooms when watering, as this can cause diseases.

FOOD

Fertilize once a month using a liquid fertilizer or add a slow-release fertilizer to the soil according to instructions.

ADDITIONAL CARE

Calibrachoa Neo Dark Blue does not typically require deadheading, but if they start getting leggy or stretched out, feel free to trim the flowers and foliage back to promote growth.
