Helichrysum Care

Adaptable to both sunny and shaded areas, Helichrysum Ribbon is low maintenance and tolerant of heat and drought. With silvery-green branched foliage, Helichrysums add interesting visual textures to any outdoor garden.

How to care for your Helichrysum

Use these instructions to care for a Helichrysum. This guide will tell you how to water a Helichrysum; its light, temperature, humidity preferences and any additional care it might need to help it grow.

Helichrysum Ribbon

Helichrysum Ribbon will grow best in full to partial sun, but will also thrive in shade.

Water thoroughly when the top 25% of the soil feels dry to touch. Helichrysum Ribbons are hardy plants that are drought-tolerant, but grow better with regular watering. During dry times, more watering may be needed, and during rainy times, less watering may be needed.

Fertilize once a month using a liquid fertilizer or add a slow-release fertilizer to the soil according to instructions.

To encourage bushier, thicker Helichrysum plants, feel free to pinch back growth every so often.
