How to care for your Dorotheanthus Mezoo
Use these instructions to care for a Dorotheanthus Mezoo. This guide will tell you how to water a Dorotheanthus Mezoo; its light, temperature, humidity preferences and any additional care it might need to help it grow.
Dorotheanthus Mezoo
Your Dorotheanthus Mezoo Plant grows best in full to partial sun. Whether your Mezoo Plant is hanging in a basket or trailing along in a plant box on a shelf, an east or south-facing window works well. Also, you might need to supplement with a grow light if you can’t find an ideal spot.
Water thoroughly when the top 50-75% of the soil feels dry to touch, or when your plant starts to wrinkle a bit. Dorotheanthus Mezoo are succulent plants that are fairly drought-tolerant, and some wrinkling in the leaves occurs when your plant is thirsty. You’ll also need to make sure the soil promotes draining to avoid root rotting.
Being a succulent, your Mezoo Plant doesn’t require frequent fertilizing. Once your plant starts blooming, you can ferlitize it once a month using a 10:30:20 formula that’s diluted at a quarter strength. However, too much nitrogen might discourage flowering but will promote leaf growth.
To encourage bushier growth and branching, feel free to pinch back growth every so often.
